Fatal Crashes in the US
In 2014 (latest year statistics are available), a grand total of 30,797 fatal crashes occurred in the United States, resulting in the deaths of 33,808 drivers, passengers and pedestrians. We have developed this map to show where most of these crashes happened. All statistics are based on data provided by the National Census Bureau and the Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS).
